About Seini

Sēini “SistaNative” Taumoepeau (she/her), is an orator and songwoman who practices Faivā (performance of space) and Tauhivā (relational space). She’s a performance artist, presenter/broadcaster and creative industries professional, with a career spanning over thirty years.

A voice of Modern Australia, Sēini is an interdisciplinary artist, storyteller and founder of OceaniaX and LELEI Wellness.

Sēini is a veteran of the arts media and culture, as well as in the educational and personal development sectors, with an intersectional Oceanic-Pacific lens and First Nations focus.

Seini connects with global communities. She carries medicine in her presence, hands and voice, commanding an aesthetic in harmony and rhythm, working with the invisible and intangible.
